Thank you for your interest in School in the Woods Montessori School. We hope that this information will be helpful in understanding our admissions process. Please feel free to call the school if you have any questions.
For the 2017-2018 school year, we will begin accepting applications on November 1, 2016.
Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications should be completed and returned to the school along with a $25 non-refundable application fee.
For Toddler, Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten admissions, applications should be submitted no later than February 1 in order to be considered for first round admissions conducted in February.

The Admission Process
The sex and age of your child, as well as the program that you are applying to, affects the determination as to whether there is space available.
When your complete application (including fee) has been received, your child will be placed on the appropriate wait list based on the Admission criteria listed above. Wait lists are active throughout the school year, but do not roll over from one year to the next.
The number of available spots will differ from year to year based on re-enrollment from currently enrolled children and their siblings.
Re-enrollment for children currently attending school and their siblings is conducted in January. These children have priority.
Acceptance and Wait List Letters
Acceptance of new students will begin in early February once re-enrollment for currently enrolled children is complete.
For the 2017-2018 school year, all applicants will receive notification of their acceptance or the status of their position on the wait list no later than March 8, 2017.
Enrollment Fees and Enrollment contracts are due for all students no later than April 1 or two weeks after acceptance, whichever is later.
